How the Kunekune Reservation Process Works

1. Review our breeding program, herd, pricing, and currently available pigs.
2. Contact us with your location, experience, acreage, fencing, goals, and preferred sex or registration status.
3. We discuss whether a pet, feeder, or breeding prospect is appropriate.
4. Approved buyers receive the applicable deposit and reservation terms.
5. Final selection, balance, records, pickup, and transport are completed according to the written agreement.

Deposits, Selection, and Timing

A deposit reserves an opportunity under the stated terms; it does not turn every newborn piglet into a breeding-quality animal. We continue evaluating development, health, bite, teats, feet, legs, movement, temperament, and overall suitability before final placement.

Breeding and farrowing are biological processes. Litter timing, size, sex, color, wattles, and breeding-quality outcomes cannot be guaranteed in advance.

Pickup, Transport, and the Right Home

Buyers should have fencing, shelter, water, feed, companionship, and transportation ready before pickup. We may work with approved livestock transporters when practical, but destination requirements and transport costs remain part of the buyer’s planning and expense.

We reserve the right to decline or change a placement when the animal or buyer is not an appropriate match. Start with available piglets, our pricing philosophy, registration guidance, and our structure standards.
