Movement is the working test of structure. A Kunekune may look balanced while standing, but walking reveals whether its feet, pasterns, legs, shoulders, hips, topline, and body capacity function together without pain or restriction.
Pasture pigs must walk to forage, water, shade, shelter, and breeding groups. Restricted gait increases wear on joints and feet and may reduce breeding performance, grazing efficiency, and productive longevity.
